The journey to skillful-action….

Skillful action helps to open our mind “…learning to restrain unskillful behavior and encourage skillful behavior” (Dacher, 2006).

Skillful-action focuses on learning to restrain unskillful behavior, In other words, behavior that generates an obstacle to inner development and instead promote skillful behavior that supports integral health. In this step, the goal is to calm the mind and remove negative reactions and negative thoughts that impact the mind (Dacher, 2006).

Learn to make a conscience effort to really think before speaking in order to avoid any backlash or inner turmoil that could affect integral health.

  1. This is a awesome blog post! It is so very true getting rid of negative thoughts or even negative sayings before saying it is a terrfic thing that we all should follow. Unfortunaley negative words can not be taken back once it is said, so its best not to say anything at all.

    I really liked what you said in your blog. I think for many people, negative attitude and thinking can cause lot of bad things to happen. Like you said, we need to calm our mind and remove negative thoughts and replace it with positive to support our integral health. One of the best thing that we can do to help our inner self is always be positive in anything that we do.
